Best Practices: Cannabis
- All cannabis advertising is subject to approval by DOOH publishers. 
- Creative must be submitted 10 business days prior to airing on the network and can be declined even if an IO has already been issued. 
- Once the campaign airs on DOOH screens, it is still subject to removal based on the publisher’s request and/or negative consumer feedback. 
- It’s recommended that advertisers submit creative mocks with the avails request to get publisher feedback, helping ensure the ads will be approved to run. 
Creative Guidelines
- No use of pictures of toys or cartoons to avoid appealing to a younger audience. 
- No promotional pricing offers. 
- Don’t prominently display the word “cannabis.” 
- No images of cannabis product, consumers, or usage 
- Must include licensee’s license number if it's a dispensary 
- Should include a responsibility message, such as: “Use Responsibly.”
